TRIGGER WARNING. THIS IS GOTHIC POETRY; DARK THEMED POETRY THAT IS GENERALLY CONSIDERED MACABRE, FRIGHTENING, AND/OR DEPRESSING. DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE PRONE TO MENTAL ILLNESSES, ESPECIALLY ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION. YOUR LIFE IS MORE IMPORTANT TO ME THAN YOUR OPINION OF A REALLY OLD PIECE OF POETRY.

STILL HERE? ARE YOU SURE? OKAY….

Father Death

Hell’s on ice, Heaven’s in flames
The light has gone now Darkness reigns.
The wind whips the trees, the rivers run cold.
Where will you run to now that Evil has a hold?
Father Death we heed thy call.
To Father Death we all must fall.
“Smile Cause Death Loves You.”
Deep in the shadows fell creatures leer.
Their bright eyes shine as your heart beats in fear.
Mother clutch your child as eyes turn cold.
Hopelessness finds it’s way into souls once bold.
The Human Race he shall keep.
Forever lost in Eternal Sleep.
So stand upon this hallowed ground.
As you scream there is no sound.
Only laughter.
For now is the Time Of Reckoning
And Father Death waits beckoning
To take you home.
