“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.“– Winston Churchill.
“A failure is not always a mistake, it may simply be the best one can do under the circumstances. The real mistake is to stop trying.”– B.F. Skinner.
“You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don’t try to forget the mistakes, but you don’t dwell on it. You don’t let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.”– Johnny Cash.
“The guns and the bombs, the rockets and the warships, are all symbols of human failure.”– Lyndon B. Johnson.
“Failure is unimportant. It takes courage to make a fool of yourself.“ -Charlie Chaplin
***Look for new posts to be published on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, no specific time due to Life.
***New Page: A recommended reading list has been included for those interested. Annotations coming soon as time permits.
Friday’s Quietude posts will now be word-free, random, original photography because it’s the end of the week and we all deserve a break from wordiness. If you like, feel free to make up a story about the photo and post it in the comments section.
Tuesday’s Gratitude posts: will now be dedicated to the topic of gratitude; namely the who and what I am grateful for in my life. It seems like we never talk about gratitude because doing so is perceived to be some kind of weakness but that has to be a thinking error. Gratitude is an important and potentially life saving mental hygiene skill.
Like and Share buttons can be found at the bottom of blog posts (for now). I am trying to see if I can make these more prominent since readers have mentioned not being able to find them. Thanks for reading!
